I've seen the black chrome rims, those come with the black plastic plates pre installed, but they aren't functioning beadlocks. There are a couple threads for making your own rings to go around the rim so they become beadlocks. One mentions PVC in the title and the other is mine, where I managed to find some extra cheap, soft plastic plugs that could be made to work and be trimmed with lexan scissors!

Hot Racing makes a nice set of aluminum wheels that are true beadlock. They're about $35 for the set of four on ebay.

Another option for true beadlocks is RC4WD. Aluminum beadlocks @ about $50/set. Nice weight to them, too.

You could also go with BWD's beadlock. They also run about $50. The HRs are nice and heavy and $15 less. Though I will say they are the most ugly and gawdy of the McRC beadlock options.

Now sure if BWD is still making the micro bradlocks or not. Can't find them on the website and haven't been able to for a while. Could always email/call Don to ask, though.
