Welcome to the madness; very addictive

You can use velcro or magnets
Or somehow use existing body pins

nice looking truck BTW are those stock rims with after market tires?.....do you think i will need spacers so my wheels wont rub on the bronco cab?.....thats one of the most annoying things about the original body for the trekker....

Prob always going to have to do some trimming with the way these twist up. Not always the most scale looking when this happens. The same if you raise the body all up.

Heres my wrecker w working light leash tow hook. It sits really high cuz i didnt want to trim.

Nice wrecker!....i think i too will just raise the body.....a bronco with with enormous fenders may look foolish.....brand paint are you guys using?.....I'm thinking ill go with orange for the main part of the bronco and a bright white for the rear cab.

Remember tho high body, high center of gravity. This is my trail body because it flips too easy on my course. I got a vid on youtube of it pulling a trailer w the tow hook. Trekker Wrecker vid.

For paint i webt to autozone and got the factory colors touch up can & clear. With it in mind in the first place i went in search of my fav color dodge mineral grey, it has awesome metallics

I am currently running rc4wd beadlock rims and Bogger tires.

I also use miclaws some times.

The body in pic is mounted with Velcro and sits high as well

You can only bring down a body as far as the box bed

A jeep or bronco body may be easier to mount low.

I don't use my scaler bodies for any hard core crawling as CG is too high.

Nothing is better than stock trekker body for that I find.

Modify the stock fenders to prevent rubbing, and ie, cut them back

Wheel widener are always good.

Add weight to your tires as well.

The stock trekker can be easily modded into a good crawler

I'm already having a ton of fun in the living room building courses up of recliners and the couch.....I almost like the challenge of trying too keep it on four wheels.

when people say "miclaws" is this what they are referring too?

Losi Pre-Mounted Micro Rock Claws (Chrome) (4) [LOSB1580] | RC Cars & Trucks - A Main Hobbies

will i need spacers to run these on my truck?....they look bad-ass and go great for the bronco i have in-visioned.

Nope, truck is called QLO for the miclaws. Those are the older micro crawler tires.
