i have these and didnt do it yet either.. from what im hearing you just unscrew it to get the rod out... then a dental tool or very small screwdriver and get all the o-rings out. Take them all out. i also have outer springs and hear some people have inner. |

well i have them aswell and figured out a crappy way! i heard you can heat them with a lighter or torch then slide the shock in and out to reduce the amount of drag. i did this at fist and wanted even less drag. so i was torching it and the ring got to hot half of it popped out the bottom end then i just took it out with tweezers. thats my expiriance |

I just took mine apart yesterday. There is one plastic retaining ring and two o rings. Use a paper clip to remove anything you need. Getting the plastic retaining ring back in is tough. I just clip or cut one side and it goes in easier and still works. If you remove everything the shoc will have some slop. Haven't tried heating yet, in theory it should work. |

Thats funny, they come apart ? Too small for my eyes. I took a jewelers Phillips and heated till red hot and assaulted the orings or what ever was in there. But smooth as silk now. |
