Micro Cralwer Wheels/Tires

Im building a scaller that needs smaller tires than 1.55, I am using the Losi MRC axles, these use a 12mm Hex.

RC4wd has a Beadlock whell for the Micro but it says 7mm hex?

Regaurdless anyone know if anyone sells a hex or another way to convert Losi Micro wheels and tires (aftermarket or Market) to fit the Mini axle? 12mm Hex?

what I have seen the Micro doesnt even use hex, but I have never looked at one in person or checked out the wheel.

I figured the guys that work and play with the Micro's might have an idea before I ask up in Scale.

Gonna try to take a look at my local Honny shop today if they have a micro, but at the same time its a small shop so I doubt they do.

The micro does in fact use a hex and pin just like the mini only smaller as you found out. Not sure that a micro wheel is what your looking for as they are 1" diameter.. A venom minigiant (also called the A-tech Bison) also used hexes (not sure the size) and the wheels were larger than the micro but smaller than 1.55.

I have some minigiant wheels here somewhere if you'd like me to measure them...

On micro wheels and tires a mini would have around 1/4-3/8" clearance under the diffs. Way too small. You may have to mod a set of Mini T wheels, or possibly a set from a Mini 8ight. I believe they are around a 1 1/4" wheel.

What would be the ideal tire dia. for your project?

You might want to look into a set of traxxas mini slash wheels & tires, they take a 12mm hex & are 2 1/2 inches tall.
