|  Tools for Micros
we have stickies on mods, tires/wheels and other stuff.. but one thing that is a challenge is Tools.... So with that.. what tools do you have and recommend? Maybe this can get some of us going on the right path... Seems the Micro section has been starting to take off with new people (including myself) so lets get everyone on the same page... This is the set of bits I use for the micro hardware. Has done me well for 4 years through 15+ rigs, about 8 of which have been full builds. I'll edit this with a HF sku # as soon as I get one. | Tools for Micros
Here is my little assortment of tools. Just some cutters, needle nose pliers, a set of precision Allen wrenches/screw driver bits (5.00 at family dollar store last Christmas) some paint and brushes, an xacto set and a file. Not really a "tool" but is very essential. A multi-compartment organizer. See-thru and have compartments perfectly sized for micro rc parts (except for my miclaw tires =D)  Plano 21-Compartment StowAway Organizer and ProLatch-2360021 at The Home Depot |

Turning your allen hex tool into handheld is the biggest thing. Going from 30min to change a trans to 5min.

M I P. Thorp-----0.050. Screwdriver...best money I've spent..no more killing my fingures with allen wrenchs. I got turned onto this brand when I was looking for tools to work on my wraith.. well made, sharp tip.. worth the 11.00..u can find them on amazon.
