| TheBakedBeans - Mercedes Benz 230 G
I'm super excited!! Normally I wouldn't post a project until I am finished with it (it's just my way) but I wanted to let you in on a sneak peak of a special little model I found at my LHS. Here is a quick mock up of the soon to come Mercedes Benz 230 G I hope I can find some tires/wheels that are a bit more scale. |

| Re: TheBakedBeans - Mercedes Benz 230 G I've learned that since these guys are so small and light, the best chassis is the one that comes with it!! I realize that people enjoy making chassis but I just don't have that skill. The chassis it comes with will be reinforced with some shoe glue and for the size/weight it will be indestructible. All I really have to do is find some springs and add links to the bottom of the stock chassis. Also I will need to cut a small portion of the floor board so the tranny can poke through. I do plan on using the full interior to make this as scale as my Montero Scale Micro Crawling - Marquette Michigan - YouTube using this method it will look great because the undercarriage will look 100% scale |

I do plan to make a mold of this truck if anyone is interested. Also I will be making a mold of a 1/24th D90, 1/20th Hilux, 1/20th Cj7 The mold materials arrive tomorrow and I am assuming I may have some for sale within the next 30 days or so. I will be sure to post | |

They're both awesome, but I love the look and the stance of the Land Rover. Can you tell me what body, wheels, and tires are shown in that photo? Thanks. |
