Default my micro project

I really like micros. You can choose pretty much any body and go wild building a course. So I thought it is about time I give it a shot...

I've decided to do something different and copy a Welcome to Barbour4x4
2-cv

I found a tamiya 1:24 kit that I will use for the project. Have a spot dedicated in the basement to build the course also.

Here's the project so far:

the body will sit lower, just trial fitting everything.

You should just make the body fit the new chassis. It'd be kinda sad to see such an original idea go to waste.

still have the body, project isn't over yet, just got itchy to have something to run on the course i've built. picked up spare axles to finish... want to have two vehicles to run when friends come over.

the course so far...

it's set up that i can rearrange the rocks to alter the course to keep it interesting. the rocks i picked up locally from the niagara escarpment and are full off fossils. the base was made from wood that was thrown out behind an industrial space. the whole idea is to build it from scrounged recycled materials. the next few tasks is to build some bridges, also get the lightning fixture working that was made from an old ikea led lamp and scrap wire i found (you can see it hanging from above).
