| Need some opinions on body size...1/25 vs 1/20
I just purchased a used MRC and I'm thinking about putting an AMC Gremlin body on it. I found 2 sizes and not sure what to go with. I found one in 1/20 scale, and then I found one in 1/25. I'm thinking that the 1/20 will obviously have more room to allow the body to sit on the frame with a lower more realistic look. I just don't want it to be too big. The dimensions are Product Length: 8.0 inches Product Width: 4.0 inches Product Height: 3.0 inches What do you guys think? 1/20 - Gremlin Grabber Vehicle Plastic Model Car Kit 1/20 Scale by Lindberg (72335) 1/25 - M&H RACEMASTERS JUMBO DRAG SLICK Plastic Model Tire Wheel 1/25 Scale by AMT (76 Last edited by KBR97; 06-12-2014 at 06:01 PM. |

How does it fit on your trekker? Any pics you can show me?

Personally I would go with 1:20 scale, but then again I'm biased, as that is all I build in. The body might look way to small in proportion to the tires if you go with 1:24. Malofish, I would also like to see that gremlin trekker, and drifter! I love oddball creations!

They both look great. Did you have to extend the wheelbase on the Toyota?

Yeah, she actually rides on a CrawlerX SMC 5.5" chassis. Great little chassis, and they also come in shorter sizes that would work with a Gremlin. 4", and 4.5" I believe.

1/24th is too small for the micro crawler imo. i run 1/20th.

I tried a 1/24th or 1/25th scale jeep with no luck, even comp cut and extended, the cab just looked too small now I run a 1/20 cherokee body and couldn't be happier with it please post pics with the gremlin body, I've been looking at them to make more of a crawler body |

The MRC that I bought is already coming with a pickup body that looks like it fits pretty good. I'll run that for now until I get started on the gremlin. | |
