wheel nut questions

did some searching in here and couldnt find the answers i was looking for.

1. what size is the standard plastic wheel nut?

2. are there metal alternatives out there?

I ask this because i just got a new to me trekker and it came with no tools. in attempt to remove the wheels to add weights i boogered up 1 of the wheel nuts a bit with my needle nose pliers. can anyone lead me in the right direction for one or both of the above question please.

Look on eBay for a hot racing 4.5mm nutdriver, and 2mm aluminum locknuts from turnigy. That's what I use.

are the stock plastic nuts the same size?

Yes the stock plastic nuts use a 4.5 mm nut driver, here is a link to a hardware place I use
NIM020 - M2 x 0.4mm - Nylon Insert Lock Nuts - Metric - Plated - Micro Fasteners
they also have them in stainless
