Question LiPo Battery for the MRC?

Hi, I'm new here and new to crawling. I had a Tamiya Hot Shot as a kid about 20 years ago and now I'm sporting a TRX Stampede VXL and my new little Losi MRC.

I was just browsing the maxamps site and noticed they have a battery for the MRC. However, this is my first Losi product and I cannot seem to figure out what plug to have pre-installed. When I first got the truck I immediately purchased a TRX->Tamiya->Losi adapter to use with my Hyperion charger, but there was no mention of what the Losi connector type was.

So I guess my question is which connector do I choose so I don't have to alter the connector on the ESC (I'm terrible at that stuff). I just want the same connector that the stock battery had on it. http://www.maxamps.com/proddetail.ph...4-Pack&cat=182 is where the pack is found.

Another question I have is will a better battery give this steering servo a bit more torque? If not I think that is the next piece I'll be replacing. Out of the box it seems a bit weak to me. If you wanted to be extra helpful you could toss an idea for a new servo because I haven't a clue where to begin. Thanks!

MPI still refers to the connector Losi uses as the HPI plug since it was first used in HPI's Micro RS4.

Just switch out everything to Deans connectors and be done with it.

Is that the Micro 1/18 Scale Plug? I don't see an HPI in the pull down list.

Thanks

Could be Dex. I'm planning on using the pack from a Parkzone J3 Cub in mine.

Do you use the same screen name on the Traxxas forum?
I go by bjoehandley over there.

Yeap thats me. :-P

I'm just trying to keep it simple, no changing of adapters etc etc. I'm gonna check out that pack. The reason I have been sticking with the maxamps is I have a hyperion tapped balancer on the charger. Just trying to stay simple and consistent so my wife can charge it without issue (it's hers)

In case anyone is wondering, the correct choice was Micro 1/18 Scale Plug. Seems entirely too obvious in retrospect. Hopefully Jason at maxamps got it right.
