A million times better than the stock shoes. Tunner and I run very similar setups but he has cut down Panthers and we both agree the cut Claws have better forward bite for sure. I wouldn't recommend making any though they are the worst gluing tire I've ever dealt with. Roar made some 1.9 Badlands that looked sick, a lot better than the Gladiators IMO. If I was going to suggest a tire to cut down Badlands would be it, so far |

Hey Mike, Pulson factory driver hu. lol. yeah glueing claws sucks but if you cut the tires in a verry straight line so both sides set flush on each other it makes it a little easier.

-Carnage- Well Kosta and I went out to Black Rock today for some MRC action. About half way through our run and after we both took numerous falls the body on Kosta's was lookin kinda weird. As it turned out, he tweaked his chassis a bit. After looking the rigs over, it seams that it is better to brace the chassis further out like I did in the 1st picture rather than drilling new holes and possibly weakening the chassis plates Thought this might help a few people out. |

Well after reading all the carnage with servos and seeing Mac10's (AKA mwrighttt) issues first hand, MAc10 and I decided to go full size on the little guys. Mac10 went with a 645 but I just didn't know if it would be enough so I stuck my spare air 94358z. Took a stock Axial servo mount and just drilled it to fit, same as "mini me". I'll get pics up later (I'm at work so no camera) |

glad I could save you some money! I thought about just using my spare ds8711 but I figured that was a bit overkill! |

Looking great T, looks like I need to join the full size servo crew tonight. I think a 5955tg should be sufficient |

I just mounted some lexan plates to the bottom side of the Y-link. It's not really too much lower but I guess every bit counts |

Well in the last few weeks I've been tweaking and tuning Little Bastard a bunch here are some pics of what I'm working on I've drilled out the body posts so I could thread a 3mm stud into the bottom of them. This allows me to mount the body posts right into the chassis braces. Hear you can see my mounting plates. I've got the plates on the bottom side of the upper link (just a bit lower but every bit helps) I also made extra clearance near the pivot balls, so I can mount the upper link on the Mini Nino chassis without rubbing as you all know I run nothing but Losi shocks on all my crawlers and Little Bastard is no different. Droop front w/pen springs 30wt oil No springs in the rear 70wt oil Well limited on both front and rear I snagged a set of bent links from Mutiny22. They just look sweet, and any extra clearance under the little guys helps Another common site on my rigs is Lundsford Titanium turnbuckles so I got Little Basterd hooked up right. This does give you a bit better approch angle over the stock setup, because it's straight. It's real close but no rubbing at full lock Ok here is were it gets interesting I've been wanting to but Little Bastard on a slight diet. I didn't want to go to crazy. I wanted it wide enough to still mount everything easily on the links or in the chassis, but cut down on the belly drag. I started by cutting the skid down to 50mm wide. One of the trans screws was in the way just a bit so I cut it off. Next up choppin the chassis. First I countersunk the holes for the skid, then I took the upper alum section out of one side to clearance the trans. I then modified the motor plate for the other side. The motor is almost touching the chassis, but it worked out just right. sorry I didn't get a pic of the motor plate. Here is a shot of it so far Tell me what you think |
