Default the 2yo MRC driver.

i would like to introduce you all to my son TJ. He is 2years old and has been messing with rc since he was born literally.

today i took him to the compsite with me and we spent about 4 hours w/ the guys crawling it up. For his age he does amazing sometimes distracted by the throttle ;D but most of the time he does real well and listens/drives slow/follows lines.

heres some pics of him out w/ his MRC bug. (oh and sometimes he HAD to drive mine!)LOL!

of course like i said sometimes distracted by the throttle trigger. a little bushwhacking ;D

hope you guys got a kick out of these as much as i did takeing him out to the site. ill deffinatly be taking him more.

Looks like a blast! I can't wait for my 2year old son to go crawling with me. My 6yr old daughter loses interest pretty quickly in R/C, but you know how boys are.. "TRUCKS!"

Great pics!
I have video somewhere of my 3 year old doing testing with the prototype Mini Rock Crawlers, he has a blast with them and he gets around pretty good too.

you should let her try it. My son will be 3 in jan, its amazing what they already know.. the next 12 mos are gonna be FUN for you ;D LOL!

just take ure time. When TJ gets frustrated we just stop and almost everytime he trys again he stays at it for a longer period of time. It took a while before i could even get him to concentate long enough to follow another truck!

and even longer to keep him from driveing through the puddles!

Keep him at the wheel.

Jeff just turned 4 and has been driving for 2 1/2 years now.

He has a 1:18 Nylint, an Axial, and a Losi MRC.

He actually asked a guy to speed up on the trail ride this weekend.

He tugged on the guy's shirt..."Can you hurry up?"

Man my 2yr Son doesn't have big enough hands to hold the radio and work the throttle...:( So I work the throttle and he turns the rig. He just turned 2 and his a little guy for his age....

Yeah, Jeff drove left-handed up until his hands grew large enough that he could hold the TX with his left and steer with his right. For some reason he drove lefty initially...was easier.

With the Losi TX he'll still change his grip so he can put the rig in reverse (reverse trigger is too far from handle for him) but he does well with it.
