Default akguanja's JEEP TCS L-Trail Scaler

Okay so here it is i got it built thanks to JIA's thread i didnt even have to think on my own lol Thanks Jason!

anyways like jasons except Brushless 2040kv turnigy motor on a Tek-Model (japan cheapie) drag break programable(actually decent) ESC
lol

so ya

lexan battery mount, delrin framestandoffs, lexan upper link mount plates (waterproof plano type box comeing soon)(interior comeing soon)

as for now this is just the point where im at im takeing suggestions from all of you guys on what you want to see done to it. i cant decide. so heres my ideas so far... let me know if you think i should paint the top/fenders etc etc

Forget my Datsun body dude. That thing is sick. Buy a Big Bear interior for it. There's one on ebay right now.

Thanks guys. like i said undecided. really thinking about painting the pillars black like bars and the top tan like a vinyl top or something.

Thats a funny place to store a spare.....I don't know about Alaska, but in the lower 48, we mount our spare tires on the backs of our Jeeps!!!

Looks good, Tre.....should be a fun one to beat on!!!

well i dont drive jeeps! lol this will be my first.it probably wont run worth a crap. already giveing me problems ever since i got that body!

lol. and as for the tire maybe ill go with the rear ill have to check it out.

I still have to get the body mounted on mine... Wish that the other L-trail buildes were closer for a gtg and to compare in person the different ways they were built....

where did you get the pieces for the standoffs? i have the L-Trail and this is my first build so i have know idea what to use, or where to get it

i made them from 1/4inch delrin rod. usualy avalible @ ure local plastics company or online.

Default From Heep to Datsun. lol

So im done with the jeep for now. i managed to win eddieveders datsun big bear body and mocrawler is going to be doing a nice softtop for it and thats going to be my L-trail.. so watch for a build on that one in the next month or so.

untill then heres some pictures of the jeep running out in the snow here this week.

Great looking build.

I really didn't want to see a picture of snow though :-( That stuff just depresses the crap out of me.

The Tamiya tires look just about right on there too, nice job.
