Default Screws

Are there any replacement screws readily available for the MRC? I am hacking the little hexes (for example, the ones on the servo plate) to death.

I pre-ordered a screw set from Horizon Hobby when the mrc first came out, but that still hasn't arrived. I'm looking for screws that don't suck. These stock screws are just too weak.

That is hardly the issue... Cheap is cheap. These screws are made of the worst metal I have yet to encounter in RC.

The first thing I noticed is that most of the screws are WAY over-tightened in the factory. Just to get them going does a tune on some of them.

My worry is the screw set is going to be the same junk. Maybe tony's screws will make a set. http://www.tonysscrews.com/product.s...57&productId=8 for the misi lst, though I hesitate to spend the money and find the ones that are stripping are not in the set.

he is right you just need the correct allen, that 1 screw thats on the servo plate is a standard 1/16" allen, for the mostpart all of the other screws/hex's on the MRC are metric.

ive assembled and dissasembled 4 MRCs now about 20 times total....

and am still useing all the stock screws. but i agree you cant crank on the stuff like you are used to doing with larger models.

so stop with the big meat grinders and be gentle..

And to think, all this time I was using my 18v makita!

PS I'm using the right size allen. I refuse to believe these beautiful hands are to blame!
