| Metal Fume Fabrication - Rock racer MRC tuber
Can't stop building new frames for these little guys, it's just so much fun! I do have to get caught up on other orders, but wanted to tackle this one since I've had a few enquiries about building a rock racer style tuber for the MRC. Anyways, the pics: Obviously needs to be sanded and painted, but just wanted to get this up there. I'm not 100% happy with the outcome. Due to the close mounting width of the shocks, it makes the roof that much more narrow. Best solution would likely be to widen the front and have the front shock mounting hoops almost vertical. Maybe others feel different. From the side, at full compression, I think it looks pretty good . Obviously should be run droop, I was just too lazy to take off the cups and springs. Anyways, this was a first attempt at doing a tuber that used all the stock components. No need to mess around with making new links, 4-link plates with this one |

Just my $.02 but what about bringing one side of the roof out so the vetical bars are straight up. Basiclly an offset cab roof. I think that would make it! |

Some finished pics. Pics are a little dark, sorry about that. Turned out ok with the paint and panels added on. Still don't think I'd build another. If someone wants it, PM me with an offer |
