Are these bent links?

I'll definitely be picking that up if it is.

I just assumed the 30 deg was referring to the links being bent/

Yeah maybe, TRX calls their caster blocks 30 degress and I dunno what the heck they are talking about. They just look like casters too me. And for all I know the 30 degress is the angle between the upper 3 link portion of the Losi.

Helpful ay

I put a 4/40 threaded rod thru a piece of aluminum tubing and screwed Dubro 4/40 ends to the thread sandwiching the aluminum tube. I then put them on the vice and bent them at the same time. It only cost about $7 bucks. I don't know if it's the best way but it worked well for me.

yeah i did the aluminum tube with threaded rod
i used traxxas ends

i used a tube bender from harbor freight to make the bends -- you can get one for 5-7 bucks

discount auto also sells the tube benders

well worth it ....

yup i treaded 3mm grub rod into the aluminum and reused the eyelets from the lowers, and used t-maxx ends for my custom uppers

aluminum is all good but your better off using stainless steel. The stainless is going to allow the truck to slide a little easier when it gets hung up where as the aluminum will scratch and bind up a little more.

I really don't think it's much of an issue on a truck as light as these are, at least not enough to justify the added expense of stainless.
