| Split pack for the mini!
So I had a split pack made for the LMC! It's a 7cell, NIMH 800mah. Each pack is 3/4"x1"!!!! I put a charge on them and hooked them up. I got a solid 45min before I saw a drop. When I say solid I mean wide open crawling non stop! I'm going to keep testing them for a bit and see how it does with a HH mini motor. Looks promising right now! Oh, and they fit on the axles perfect!!!! I'll get some pict's on the LMC tonight for you guys Sorry for the kinda dark pict, It was early when I took it |

I had a friend at Battery's Plus order them for me. When the box of them came in we sat down and made a few packs up. Some for inside the tuber and some for on the axles. Look's like they can be done for under $20. It all depends.....

Here are some shots on the front and one on the rear. Figured I would show the back because I have a plate on the front. The rear would be like the front without a plate....

Cheap Battery Packs you can build one with 700mah battery's the same size for $15.00. I'm going to talk to my friend, see what I can do on price. $15.00 is pretty cheap for a pack IMO....See what I can do. If I can't at least you know where you can |

Definitely smaller than 2/3a cells. Those look great Kenny. Put me down for a couple packs if you decide to make/sell them. Perfect solution for tubers which all seem to be too small for mounting packs inside the frame. |

nice! can you tell us the size and brand of cell you used? ive been wanting to make a custom pack but was unsure of which cells to purchase. also what guage wire are you using? looks like 10awg but would like verification i got a hold of christhebatteryman a couple of weeks back and said they had some in development but were pretty busy w/ a move. i was thinking about using 1/3AAA or 1/2AA but was afraid run times would be way too short |

I talked with Chris last night about these. The mah claims on the battery's I have might be BS! I need to keep playing with the LMC to make sure the run times are going to be ok. As far as the wideners and the packs go, check out the pict of them on the back axle. They would be fine without wideners Like I said they are only 1"x3/4"! I'm really just trying to figure out something to help us out with the battery prob. Some people will want more than 45min run times, others like me will be fine with 45min run times! Small cells=low mah.....
