1/12 or 1/10 would be perfect for the MRC axle width.

remember a HUMMER body with an 8.5 inch wheelbase and a BUG with an 8.5 inch wheelbase would be different scales |

for scale build most of the time you have to adjust your wheelbase stock does not always work..

ok thanks sloopy. found that out today at the LHS. only body that i saw that was close to fitting was the traxxas stamped body. wheel wells were off just alittle. (chassie needs to be extened about an inch) then made my way over to the k-mart and wal-mart. seen some smaller newbright rc trucks that looked closer. i'm gonna hit up some pawn shops, thrift stores, flea market and see what i can find. is there any chance anyone know what the measurements are for the 1/10 tamiya subaru brat body is? ya'll have been alot of help so far! thanks peace

Well I'm a 1:1 jeeper, and I was hoping to find out if maybe just maybe anybody out there has mounted up a HPI jeep rubicon body... and if there are any pics of it. I'm planning to order a trail-L chassis. 15bucks to fix an axle is alot cheeper than 500 lol

I know that feeling...I sold my jeep shortly after i started riding downhill... I still had to drive an hour & a half to get to good places, but when teh bike breaks you throw it back on teh rack & go home... | |

I too want to build a scale jeep to match my 1:1. I'm sure it won't be long and there will be some good bodies out there for us.
