Default 1.9 comp piano wire losi

Heres a little teaser. Got the chassi all pretty much done(Hate the driveline angles), But I will have to re-do the belly because it drilled crooked. I am also going to attempt to thread the ends of the piano wire so I can sandwich the axle between 2 nuts instead of messing with locking collars that small. Also got the behind axle steering going too and a nice little hitec(Although I still hate them) servo with an aluminum arm. The Losi rock basher blues came in yesterday. Monday I will pry re-do the belly, get the steering in order and the chassi finished. Maybe mount up some electronics and see what I can do for a battery. More to come...

It's worked on 2.2 rigs, don't see why it won't on the mini

At the moment it flexes almost 90 to one sid eand like 10 to the other because of the crooked drilling in the belly. So once the new belly is drilled straight, it will pry only lift a tire about an inch before it picks up the other.

Rusty_rail,

This chassi is nothing new. It was invented couple years back by one of our locals also named Chris(SN: Bluemeanie) I run it on my 2.2 and am making one for my super

Good, you should be searching/reading more than you post. Grow a little thicker skin or find a different forum.

PROGRESS:
Ok so I got most of her done. Youu poop when you see how little the new motor is! All I have left to do is make body mounts. Finish the body. Find some bead locks or glue the tires. I picked up a set of the blue compount rock bashers and claws. We will have to see how they do. I like the feel of the bashers better than the claws. It is a little faster than stock now. The motor does well thus far

Thus far the specs are:
-Piano wire chassi with hardened steel set collars
-Blue compound Rock bashers
-CCBEC set to 6v
-Mamba sidewinder mirco
-Eflight park 250 outrunner(2200KV)
-KAN700mah 7 cell pack
-HiTec 5245MG servo
-Behind axle steering
-Stock Reciever bound to my DX3R
-Anti wrap bar for the back axle

Let me know what you think thus far:

Thus far everything works well. The motor suprisingly is nice for an outrunner. Steering is SOOO much better than stock. Tires feel nicer. I think with some tweaking, it should be a competative truck. Now I wish I could get the rain to stop so I can driver her.

So you're going to get to drive it sometime around... oh, March? Wouldn't want to live anywhere but the NorthWet, but there is a reason I tend to build my courses under trees.

Update:

Ok so I have her 99% finished. Got the sexy MSD beadlocks on(Thanks again Ben), body painted and mounted, and put the stock motor back in because the outrunner was too slow and not too smooth. All I have to do is mess with some weight and PNW proof it(Mildly waterproofing). It weighs 2lbs 7oz. as it sits fully loaded with no weight. Let me know what you think

This thing looks so sick man, good job. I was talking to you about 3 weeks ago over the phone asking about a split pack for the mini. You had told me that you wanted to put this crawler together, looks like you did and it turned out great. Really innovative man, nice. -Up and over
