Not that I am aware of. Outrunners would be too much rotating mass and breakage is very likely. Inrunners won't start up in a bind unless it is sensored. Novak has one sensored unit (mongoose) with 1/8" shaft. No drag brake, and somebody reported it is too coggy at the low end.

I don't think there will be an good option for brushless.

Hey

I am using a 4200 in-runner and love it. Start up is great with a 7.4 motor. I have only run one comp on the set up.

(I do not plan on running another comp with this truck, its just not for me)

Starts up well enough in a bind without breaking stuff?

Still too big. It wouldn't even fit the stock motor plate.

Somebody bolted up the 454 Puller and broke stuff, the old revolver 2 was about the same power.

What about the brushless motors the Japanese were running at Nat's in their 2.2's. Those things were tiny and I would imagine could make a MRC fly!!!

What about the Novak Mongoose and there 380 brushless motor. Castle makes a 380 size motor to from browsing Towers booklet in the mail the other day. Or are they not suited for what we need?
