Default What size is the stock motor ?

You like, 540, 480, 400 ,300 etc etc

It is a 280, labeled as a 380. I think it is around 40ish turns. I can tell you it is right around 4000 kv unloaded, but loaded it falls pretty hard on speed.

It also has positive timing, so if you flip your tranny it will ruin the motor very fast.

Could you elaborate a little more on why the positive timing will ruin a flipped transmission setup please? Thanks.

The motor is facing in the opposite direction when you flip it. You have to reverse the motor wires so the motor will spin the right direction. So now you are going in reverse to go forward. That is against the direction of the timing. I do beleive that is why, I will leave it to JRH to elaborate

COrrect and will burn up the commutator and brushes quickly.

Yes, flipping the tranny causes the motor to have "negative" timing which burns up brushes and comm.
