Default got a new mrc and it squeels all of the time?????

the receiver seems to squeel when it is just sitting there or when you are moving with the power on, is this normal? there is also a green light on the bottom of the esc that blinks when it makes the sqeel/screech noise, is this normal?

Default mini

Mine sqeals quite bit like it has a bad bearing or something it has done it from day one too. Still works fine. But it dosen't sound like it's the ESC on mine.

try turning your trim knobs, you mite have some throttle trim on. also the esc will make noise when your holding the trigger in just a hair.

I agree. It's most likely the throttle trim. Adjust that until you stop hearing the squeal when you're finger is not on the throttle trigger.

Default that does help

I adjusted the trim a little which helped some, but I also figured out that just the weight of my finger on the trigger must be activating the ESC ever so slightly and hence making it squeel.

All of our perceptions are different so I just want to say that these mini crawlers are just loud. I don't know if the noise that mine makes is the same or different than yours, but mine in definately loud, nothing like my 2.2 which is quiet. So your crawler might be totally fine and loud just like others.
