| Tranny stock or Tranny Flipped?
Just wanting a head count of who runs the tranny flipped or stock. I ask because of the motor. A flipped tranny will eat up the stock motor because of the timing. I sell the TorqueMaster Mini with forward timing for a normal tranny, but if enough people run it flipped I will start sending them out with zero timing. |

Run mine flipped. Just how "bad" is it for your motor? I just switched the plugs on mine to reverse it.

It burns up the comm and brushes to run them with negative timing. Some motors may last a bit, some may destroy themselves in a matter of an hour.

I just put my TorqueMaster Mini in with the tranny flipped ..... So I guess I need to alter the timing before I run it. Which way do I need to rotate it again? |

Flipped is the way to go IMO. Can't get a battery on the front links otherwise.

| Well mine's made it an little over month so far, but now you've jinxed me. lol For you to sell them for a reversed tranny is it just a matter of you adjusting them? I was planning on getting one anyway, but maybe I'll get it sooner than I'd planned on |

Loosen the little endbell screws and line them up with the dents in the can. The endbell will rotate clockwise in relation to the can. | |

Mine is flipped, made room for the battery, and also seemed to help the torqe twist (could just be in my mind though) |

Mine is flipped. Oddly enough my motorcycle motor (280 size) runs with the positive and negative leads connected properly. Perhaps some kind of reverse - wind thing because it's designed for RC bikes? (Yes, my throttle switch is forward on my radio.) |

I don't see any other advantages to the flip. I think the battery space alone is enough for me though.
