Default JPH Comp ready MRC

Gonna Comp it this weekend, see how it does, and then make some more changes .... This is what I had time for so far!

Mini Maverick Crawler: (Mini Mav for short)
Losi MRC trani and axles
Losi Late Model shocks
Mayhem Engineering badd-ass beadlock rims!
Losi Basher tires and memory foams
Thunder Power 730 Battery
JR DS9411 servo
Tekin FXR ESC
Spektrum radio gear
JPH Carbon Chassis
JPH Carbon y-link plates (for radio gear and battery)
JPH body mount braces
JPH Carbon Servo Plate

I'm planning these changes: 4 link front and rear, carbon 4 link rear plate, carbon servo mount 4 link plate, update chassis for body mounts and area for radio gear, maybe a motor and who knows what else!)

But, I think it's off to a good start ....

Well, the rig ran really good for it's first outing .... Considering it had about 10 feet driven, on carpet, before hitting the starting gate on course 1 yesterday!

The driver needs more wheel time to figure the rig out .... These little rigs are awesome good fun!

The Basher tires ran well. I went for the slightly wider foot print, compared to the claws. I do need to figure out turning radius. Even with a good servo, and full lock, the rig does not turn tightly (others there seemed to have a sharper turning). The Mayhem rims are SWEET.

I didn't pre-load the left rear shock, but only had minor torque twist issues when I ran the left front against a sidehill rock. The thing went vertical with all four tires planted! Very fun to drive and predictable. The scores aren't out yet, but I'm sure I finished mid pack ... Running against, Dean, Brandon, Badger, etc ...

I'm not sure about needing a 4 link setup now? I would like to pull it all apart and clean up some linkage bind with the stock Losi parts (some polishing and refitting should do it).

Thanks for the positive comments guys!

P.S.: Bcrofts, you can wheel it next time!

How do the Slider shocks seal, I know Losi's never had much luck with them retaining oil in all their Mini shock line.

We're considering offering some parts for sale, I've got some more testing to do first to finalize the designs ...

The Losi Slider shocks are the same length as the Mini T fronts. I'll try to measure a set ... I've had great luck with most of the losi shocks, the big trick is not to over fill them with oil. The design is for negative pressure. When the shock is built, and you compress the shock shaft, it should not spring back out ... (spring off the shock)
