Default My MRC "Rascal"

Wel i have had this little guy for about 3 weeks and have done some type of mod to it from the minute i got it.

"RASCAL"
Rock claws with memory foam (blue compound)
MLST2 Shocks (3Racing)
Standard size servo mod
Tower Pro MG995
Mini Grappler Body
Tenergy 2c 900mah (25c with 50c burst)
Grinded down bottom of turnbuckle link (no more hang up's)
Top link plates for electronics
Deans Plugs
2.5 oz in front and 1.5 oz in rear tires
Probably some others i forgot to mention
Standard servo plate
Rear 4 link mount and links
CC BEC

Upcoming Mods:
Chassis?

Thank's got these shocks off a friend, but i have ordered some shocks from the link emaxxxjeremy posted and it shiped within 5 days. These shocks make a big difference in my oppinion

I like the rig man, cool paint job and colors. I'm running the same shocks and I like them so far.

needed better shocks stock ones leak to much? the shock is not really that much shorter but it did take some of the articulation away that the stock MRC has which is ok with me

I fully agree with a little less articulation being a good thing. It is something one needs to experience for themselves. It took me awhile to try it, but I did and now I like the setup.

how did u mount those shocks? what upper part did u use and did u have ti grind down any of the lower end of the shock mine doesnt seems to fit right comign right off of my mlst2

if you are reffering to the ball ends no i didnt have to shave anything. mounted them up to the stock shock mount and added a couple of washers for spacers. on the top all i did was cut the stock plate right at the shock mounts. lossend the mount, turned them up then put a busshing spacer in and mounted the shocks to that.

well this weekend is tear down time for this lil rig. got to step up my game for the next nor-cal comp. looks like badgers the guy to beat since he beat brandon and all

no its not but it has held up pretty good though, its Testors Lacquer they have some pretty cool colors

No prob, I been looking for that color for while that won't flake. I did a pretty good tutone with house of color paint & after few rollovers it started flaking. Kinda piss me off. I might give that one a try.
