Default My Mini................. SWX Style...

First off, I need to tell everyone...this chassis is not for sale, nor would I ever consider selling it...I have too much respect for Bender, and Axial for what they have done for this hobby to ever consider selling and making a profit off of their designs...

Next, I want to thank Bender for every SW chassis I have ever built, my dad received a SWX for his AX10, and I just knew this was the chassis for my MRC, so I scaled it down in the ol copy machine...transfered it with rubber cement to some 3/32'' delrin, and cut away...for the mounting holes, I went with the original SWX design, but had to make it work for the mini, along with the skid...

I eventually will be making another with different mounting holes for the shocks(cant really adjust them much how they are without rubbing), but so far that is the only thing I am going to change...that is only the buildup stage though...Once I run it I am sure I will change more...Also plan on routering the skid like the SWX skid...

Everything is built up, inlcuding my custim 1/4'' delrin links with stock rodends, and uppers are just aluminum with pede rodends, rear 4 link is built, tomorrrow night I will be building the front 4 link with servo/lipo mount, and hopefully running it for the first time...also got the Holmes hobbies mini in, and I ran it before tearing the truck down...POWER!! and TORQUE!!!

I am expecting my blue compound bashers and claws tomorrow, I will mount them to my MRC homemade PVC hybrid beadlocks, and trying htem out...

I am running the 3racing MLST shocks and so far I am very impresed by them, but I am still going to try the MRC aluminum shocks from LOSI... enough with the talk, here are the pics, I will update more as soon as there is more to update...

Oh yeah, check out these badass MINI crawler stands by FUBAR crawlers (MTHEAD) in the vendor section!!! First set made!!!

Nice work Scott, looking forward to seeing it run

I'd leave the skid smooth on the bottom, but that's just me.

Yes, it is sanded down, thanks guys for all the great compliments, hoping to have the fron 4 link plate finished by this weekend, and get her up and going...now if vanquish would just release the mini revolvers!!! BTW, these homemade beadlocks went together great, and hold a bead extremely tight on the blue Claws!!! Thnaks again guys!! Updates soon!!
