I have a couple of uncut, unpainted lexan RC bodies laying around. There was enough excess material around these bodies for me to cut out triangles that fit on the upper links. The good thing is that the upper links have a groove on them that hold the plastic in place when you set it on the upper link. Then I drilled holes in the lexan and used zip-ties to hold the links on. I thought about using CA, but decided to go with zip ties since they, to me, are easier to remove.

Did the same thing, as did most people, and it seems to work just fine.

I used a lid from a sandwich container. A clear blue one, very stiff material and looks cool since I have the blue one. I crazy glued it to the arms.

I did the same also. I used .060" lexan and used zip ties to fasten them to the links.

.040" Styrene zip tied to the links here. Had things taped for a while but I switched to zip ties for the battery and ESC because I didn't have actual servo tape, but I have a pack of about 1200 zip ties, and they hold up to my driving better.
