Default Stripped Locker Fix

I'm running a Holme's Hobbies Torquemaster Mini with an 11 tooth pinion. That combination along with sticky blue compound tires and a 2 cell LiPo and I just kept shredding the plastic axle lockers. I'm on a tight budget and I didn't want to spend the cash on LOSI metal lockers, so I enlisted the help of my friend C*H*U*D to machine some for me. He made them on a CNC mill and they came out very nice! I don't know how durable the aluminum will be, but I know it will be a helluva lot better than plastic!

Yeah but you also get the pleasure of my company......what a bargain!

You tease!! You post these and get us all excited to not pay the losi price and smash us down!! JK JK Look good man hope they work well, you'll probably find the next weak link in the drivetrain before the aluminum breaks... I ordered the Losi ones cause I went through 3 sets of plastics in one day...

Wow three in one day! Probably not a stock setup, huh?

Here is a pic of the finished goods. Thanks again C*H*U*D!

I decided to see how the aluminum lockers are holding up after a couple weeks of abuse.

They are a bit dirty, but not really showing any signs of wear yet. The axle shaft still fits tightly into the slot. I'll hammer on them for a few more weeks then check on them again.

I have run that motor with both the stock esc and a Tekin FXR. I am currently running the Torquemaster motor with a stock ESC and an 11 tooth pinion. Both my mini crawlers have HS645MG servos.

I definitely agree. These easily look as solid as my HR units.
