Default MRC trans and axles.

Alright, I guess no one has the trans and axles available yet. So I have added up all the parts from Losi's site $124.37 plus shipping. Now I'm sure you can get some of the parts needed to get a trans and axle set a little cheaper or at least upgrade some of the needed parts to begin with.

What I'm asking is, does anybody think it would be more cost effective to order the axle housings and trans, then buy the upgrade parts like knuckles, C's, strait axle adapters and lockers aftermarket. I will be making a custom chassis and 4 link setup. That way I can just use my own servo, Spektrum receiver, an HH 454, 2s lipo, 80mm shocks, and 1.9 rim and wheel combo.

The way I look at it, I could spend $200 on an LMRC then spend another $250 on upgrades. Or maybe save my self $70 and just get what I need to build my own.

What are your opinions?

The receiver is worth a few bucks if you plan to use a Spektrum radio. Some of the other stuff may come in handy for a build as well (rode ends etc.)
