Default Fyi..........

The optional losi hex hubs 12mm Wheels Hex Set, Alum LOSB1461, are approx 1.5mm thicker then the stockers so 6.68mm verse 5.19mm
Also when installing the optional Front/Rear Metal Differential Locker LOSB1433 ,one of those damn tiny screws in the front diff gear housing snapped right off as soon as I tried to take it out, the other 7 came out without a hitch.
When installing the Center Metal Diff Locker LOSB1435 , you might have to give a few light taps to get them to go into the main center gear -it's a real tight fit.

I did all these upgrades the other day to. Did you have problems getting the drive shafts off. I did I finally removed the screw and nut that hold the plastic shaft on to the output. Then the outputs slid thru the case. Now at some later dat I will have to drill out the set screws the hold on the outputs . I agree you will have to tap the center diferential pieces into the gear.

I did not take the drive shafts apart, I just slide the trans out, I tried to take the set screw out before when I flipped the trans, but yeah those set screws suck.

i ordered 1 losb 1435 and 2 losb 1433. they sent me 2 of the 1435 which has two pieces inside the pack so now i got an extra pack and had to order the 1433's again, hope RPP get it right this time since i included a 645 servo in the order. end of rant.
to answer your question the 1433 needs 2 packs for front and rear.

set screws are 1.5mm just like the counter sunks.
The little screws for the frt/rear and trans gears are phillips, smaller then a 0,what sucks is the surrounding pieces are plastic,so you cant use heat to release the thread lock.

The frt/rear diffs you'll need 2 sets, the trans is only 1 set .

I used tongue and groove pliers to snap both sides of the Center Metal Diff Lockers all the way into the gear. It is definitely a tight fit.

That's what those little reed-prince screw drivers are for.

I always end up with one out of just about any screwdriver set I buy. The last Craftsman set I got had one instead of a #0 Phillips.

I have several sets of different tools, craftsman pro pro small set, for tink screws, loads of snap on ,and the husky small driver sets that have interchangeable bits, lifetime warranty , and always good to have a set of torx to remove stripped out hex screws

Does anyone know a shop that has the front/rear/center lockers in stock? My Panthers and Torquemaster Mini made quick work of them and I've got a comp this weekend.

Thanks for any leads,
Tommy

Got my replacements today, basically a complete diff set, freaking awesome, even ups'd to me 2nd day air, damn that's service !!
I also got my Losi aluminum shocks yesterday, here's a couple things about them.........
3 different pistons, 1,2,3 hole, plus the stocks ones fit
21, 1mm spacers , and the stocks ones again fit.
4 extra bottom seals,
no extra e clips, but again stock ones fit so keep the stock
shocks handy
no extras orings for the cap or the bottom cartidge :-(
bottom ball end is way tighter then the stock stuff- no play
top plastic part is thicker and better material then the stock stuff, but still has " a directional " installation, really wished they went to
a captured top :-(
But quality istop notch, and I got mine for $3 more then a HR set, which I was not impressed by, they have an aluminum top, that's about only the resaon I would get them, the Losi ones are way smoother , and the metal does not feel cheapy like the HR ones, but to each his own .

Did y'all get replacement parts from Losi for the stuff that failed? I e-mailed Losi about the screw heads that were already brokeb off when I opened up my locker, but haven't heard back yet.

Give them a call, they have great customer service. It is a lot easier to brush off a customer by e-mail then if you are on the phone.
