i saw that body at radio shack today and thought it looked perfect, and the truck itself was only 35 bucks, which isnt much more than a body and paint from the LHS. you talking about the 4dr right?

Tower doesn't seem to have the rest of the parts for the Blackfoot though, only the shell itself, no windows or chrome.

Newbie question here: do you have to have a scale chassis like the TCS trail in order to mount the body? How do you mount the body?

Maybe I asked the question wrong. What I should have asked was do any of you who have mounted a hard body have any pointers, tips or pics of how you did it? I know how to mount a lexan body, unlike Easy Target in the provided link.

That depends all on the body and chassis you're using. That's really the kind of thing you need to figure out on your own. Cruise through the scale forums for ideas maybe.

Helix?! You mean the Helios? There are some people that use the Helios body. It fits fine, but to me it just doesn't look right. The wheels don't line up with the wheel wells on the body.

The crawler Helios will work but is a bit big for the stock sized Losi, the Maxx Helios dwarfs the MRC.

yea.... i dont know what the helios is.... lol.
i am just looking for some thing that i can get as a kit and paint it and make it what i want... lol... and trying to find links is a problem because only one place sells the front and the other sells the rear or only has one part in stock and not the other... then i have to go chase down the grill and all the lights... just a lot of money i have to spend on shipping, but if i can find a place that has all the stuff i am set. lol.
