| is this normal?
Hi all, I have just received my rock crawler and 3 of the springs on the shocks are chrome plated with about 12 turns on, one of them is black with about 9 turns on. Thanks for your help Ps. yep that is to help reduce "torque twist" it is a stiffer spring so it wont lean hard when you hit the gas.

Hi mate, yeah that is normal. The black spring is harder and resists a bit of the torque twist. Matt |

yep i guess i got you on that one. it was slow at work. i figured you would say kilometers not miles away from each other. hmm that is interesting to me, being in the army i use kilometers for half of my distances, but being from the southwest i we use time to say how far apart we are from each other. |

You will need to put several of the supplied spacers in the left rear spring (black)... this will help with the torque twist.
