Default Nat V2 proto build

First off, Thanks Jerry for letting me help show off another awesome DmG product! For those who haven't seen this yet, this is the DmG Nat V2. My build up and beating of it has only just begun, but I'm so psyched over this chassis I had to get some pics up right away!

http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m...6/natV2002.jpg

Because it has stock-ish side plates the build up couldn't be a more smooth process. Any suspension set-up used on a stock chassis should also work just fine on this little guy. I'm going to build mine as a droop using Losi's new aluminum MRC shocks (as soon as they get here ). I'm using Losi Blue Claws w/memory foams on Eritex 1.9 Comp Heavy Beadlocks. I'm also using dual steering servo's (645MGs) since I'm not likely to get in any comps anyway and it makes my indoor crawling that much more fun

Anyway, here are a few of my own pics of it thus far.

There will be much more to come as I get the last few pieces in and get into some crawling with it. Feel free to post any questions or comments and I'll try to answer as best I can

Awsome build!

I'm new and hooked like a fish. Who sells those red wheel extentions to get a wider stance?

Longboard

My 4WS is run through a Futaba 3PM 3 channel radio. I chose that method so I could play around with turning off 4WS on the fly and also be able to switch to crab walk on the fly (for 3PM how-to see: Setting up Futaba 3PM for 4ws). However, you can also use a reversing Y harness, such as this one: http://holmeshobbies.com/product.php...0&cat=0&page=1 to set up 4WS easily with only 2 channels.

I've been meaning to post more for a few days, but I was holding off on posting more pics until my new Losi shocks arrived. However, since they STILL haven't made it here and since I've about dehydrated myself drooling over this rig on my bench, I decided to buck up and put my broke down, falling-off, crappy stock shocks on for the time being This chassis seems to crawl perfectly even so(until a shock pops off). It seems to climb steep inclines as well and maybe even better than the Orange Nat did, and I think the original Nat did inclines superbly. It also does great with front and rear articulation, but for a real demonstration of that I'll have to wait until I replace my shocks. Also, the addition of multiple shock mount locations has proven nice for easily tuning in ride height.

I'm really starting to dig the front end/hood design. I wasn't really sure about it at first, but it has definitely grown on me and I think having it adds to the "mean" look overall that the V2 has.

I have added several photos and plan to add many more, along with vids, once I get all my new goodies in.

I FINALLY got my Losi aluminum shocks in the mail and mounted up today! I also received my new lower links from Cody/JSSuper and threw them on. Now that I finally have the main mods I wanted on it done, I've started doing a lot more crawling with it. Man is this little rig is fun! For crawling in a confined/indoor area the MRC can't be beat, and for wicked good looks and excellent performance, this little V2 chassis has got to be one of the best I've seen. I've put in numerous hours tinkering with and crawling this rig now and I am thoroughly pleased with it. It was as simple as can be to mount everything up to and is built very sturdy. All in all I am one happy crawler and can't say enough good stuff up the V2 or Jerry's excellent customer service and products!

Here are some more pics of how it turned out and a bit longer video with all the mods installed:

I've been messing around a little with Zorlac's/Jerry's original hood design and I came up with something a little different that still utilizes the same tube bends as the original. My skills aren't up to Jerry's, but I try

Default Selling my V2 :(

Due to lack of time and the ever present need for money, I've posted my V2 for sale in the classified section. I'm hoping it'll go to someone who will enjoy it as much as I have! It's still got to be some of the most fun I've had in RC!
