| Tire questions
Sorry for the n00b questions. I did some searching and didn't come up with much... I'm looking to have 2 sets of tires: one for indoors (carpet, cardboard, styrofoam, whatever I can find to crawl on), and one for outdoors (rocks, etc). Which tire should I use for indoors and which for outdoors? Are the memory foams good additions? Since I don't have beadlocks. should I glue the tires on? If so, with what kind of glue? Thanks! |

my advice woudl to be to turn your mrc foe bead locks into true beadlocks useing the info on this site. easy to do go grab some pvp pipe that they use cut it down and then have ur self some true bead locks. most people use losi blue claws for better grip on the rocks out side. i dont knwo if it would be worth it to use inside. if your not having a hard time with grip on the stock tires now keep them for your inside tires and get some blue compound tires for outside. there also also some awsome aftermarket wheels offered by other companys do a bit of reasearch and find what suits u the best, the search button is your friend. u could also go with some after market bead lock rims like the losi ones i love mine wheel weights built in or u coudl go with some of the comp heavys a cheeper option with the same results. check out the vendor section and see what u can come up with everyone does somethign different it all depends on what you feel comfortable doing. after all this is a hobby have fun with it |

I am running the Losi beadlocks and blue compound 1.9 RockClaws with the Losi memory foams. For me this has been a big improvement over the stock setup.
