the 6800 motor would not make for a good motor for the MRC. It would be way to fast and you would see "stuttering" at the low end. If you are looking for a motor get the Holmes Hobbies mini torquemaster it is a great motor (side note: for me this is saying something cause i hate brushed but this motor is really smooth and a lot of power and a little more speed over stock) use this motor along with the sidewinder micro and you will be good to go. As far as it haveing a BEC yes it does but if you run a full sized servo off it you might want the CC BEC. I am running this exact set up right now but no BEC and it is working just fine (so far)

| Mongoose
The novak mongoose (the lower kv one) with a 12 tooth 48 pitch pinion (robinson racing) works beautifully, i can post my settings for it if u want, i have setup 4 of these now and have had no issue's whatsoever with any of them. they have a very powerful bec built in (2 645's in a rear steer setup with no issues) and lots of easy to program features built in. You can creep way slower than stock and go about 20 kmh top speed, according to my DX3s. one of the best features is easily adjustable drag brake. |
