You can go with a Hitec 645.. you will have to purchase an axial servo plate....easy bolt on... would also rec. buying a BEC from Castle...

Buy a HiTec 645 and just make a mount yourself...search here and youll find tons of info on it. You can replace it with the stocker or the HiTec 225 which is a direct bolt on but youll end up turning them into a pile of worthless plastic again in no time.

I picked up a Hitec HS-5245MG. It drops right in, just had to drill out the hole on the aluminum servo horn to fit a 3mm screw and away I went. Sure it's not a big power house but this thing Losi rig is a light weight rig.

in my past mini's I had issues blowing the small size servos. It seemed smart to just upgrade to a large 1/10th and cheaper too. As everyone mentioned a 645mg did the trick. If your worried about making a mount we did that for you too. Either option will work, just don't go back to the stock servo to save yourself the headache. http://rcbros.com/cart/Scripts/prodV...?idproduct=245 |
