Default Losi Aluminum Shocks - Oil Weight?

Hey, guys - new to this thread and just getting into crawlin' a bit w/ my MRC. I basically do a lot of crawlin' around the house, and some outdoors - just kind of a toy to wind down w/ after work.

My question is, what weight of oil should I run w/ my MRC? I figured thin weight oil would be the best for great articulation, but I have read of people using 1000 weight. My setup lists below, and again, I'm a newb. Thanks.

Losi MRC
Losi Aluminum Shocks
Losi Aluminum MRC Wheels
Blue Claw Tires
LiPo Servo Tray
4WS Kit - On The Way
No Mods to Chassis

40wt with 1 hole pistons, 30 was way to thin may go up to 50-60

Thanks for the info, guys - much appreciated. Can someone list the advantages/disadvantages of thinner vs. thicker shock oil? I figured thinner fluid would allow the MRC to articulate better when coming up to obstacles. With a thicker viscosity fluid, the articulation would be hampered, correct?

I'm running 30wt all around with a really soft suspension setup. It allows the axles to move easily, while my link geometry eliminates the TT.

I'm dealing w/ TT as of now - pondering some upgrades, but like the cleanliness of the stock setup w/ the Losi upgrades I have on the way. Aside from the upgrades I have in mind, I would like to stay stock, but some of these new frame designs are really causing me problems.

Anybody??
I've been wondering the same thing ever since my stockers leaked all of their oil out (which didn't take long) and I've wondered what weight oil I should buy. Does it really matter much?

Thicker slows the articulation and movement down both compression and rebound.

I found a slower suspension works well...if you drive like a slow crawler. The faster people drive the better it seems to have fast rebound and compression.
