Default My KK mrc

Well I started off with a slingshot and was pleased but I just felt that there was more in this little thing. I have a lot of chassis laying around so I just started brainstorming and came up with this.

KK 3.5 chassis
All losi axle upgrades
TP 730 lipo
Sidewinder micro
HH torquemaster mini
Mini late model shocks with cap mod
645mg
VP lh's
Blue claws
Custom SS steering links

Motor side needed to be cut open

Drilled to clearance the nub on the trans so the case can sit flush

Tight clearances

Custom 4 link plate GK inspired

My OTA steering with zero ackerman

Mandatory flex shot

Well thats it for now. Gotta finish her up for our comp this sunday. Hope it works well.

What is "Mini late model shocks with cap mod"? Do you have a link or pics of this mod?

In this pic you can see the "cap mod", you cut off the upper mount and drilled the top to accept a 3mm screw and use a traxxas rod end as the new mount. This frees up your shock so there is less resistance during articulation.

Oh yeah, killer set up Gavyn. Seems like everyone is getting serious about the 1.9. What happen to the mini SS? Guess you got your 2.2 done.

Thats pretty nice! I like!

Do you happen to know what the shock length is eye to eye on the Late model with and/or without this mod?

To achieve zero ackerman the steering link hole (the one you drill) must be inline with the king pin.

Thanks brand. I don't know about serious. Just the new thining. The SS is just in my box of chassis My 2.2 is done for the most part. I don't think some of the parts will be here by then so I'll just run it as is.

My shocks with the cap mod is 2.5". Not to sure what they were stock though. I also had cut about 4mm off the rod end to shorten it.
