| Oops!!
broke the mini today...broke the center locker and a gear in the tranny as well...are the HR aluminum gears okay for replacement?

Haven't broke either of mine yet! Gatta replace a steering servo though... Would think steel would be less prone to strip... Especially w/ yer High Falutin' motor yer runnin... Dont think I've seen steel gears yet unfortunately... Bet I can school you, gots the rear steer action... :-P

i got the hr center spool + gears & spur gear i added white lithium grease for lube. so far no troubles. when i installed these i failed to realise my slipper was stuck but i think it was stuck before as id never heard it slip. after complaining about broke frt cvd's on here i got set straight, now it works too!!! properly operating slipper = less/no broke parts

well my normal supplier is out of the aluminum gears...so i got some stock plastic gears and a new center metal locker....i dont think my slipper was working at all...but it will when i re-assemble the thing...

I installed my Losi metal center locker today. It was a PITA to get the halves into the plastic gear because the fit was so tight! I had to "pound" them into place. I only have red thread locker so I didn't use any. |
