Default what's it going to take to make my mrc comp ready?

losi MRC
Hot racing shocks
3racing bent links
losi metal lockers up front
tamiya sport tuned motor
800mah 2s lipo deans
stock esc deans
G8 flat irons
Losi black chrome wheels weighted front and back
Proline descender body
Full size servo tray
no TX no RX no servo




i just bought this rig from salmonfacesalad, but i have spent all my time with 2.2s and do not know much about mrcs. what is it going to take to get this thing comp ready, if it is not already?

Looks good, I say throw in a Tx/Rx and run it as is. Then do some fine tuning to your liking. Maybe install rear and center metal lockers first.

yeah center and rear lockers. Mini slider motor or 370 frenzy. replace the G8 flat irons with blue 1.9 losi claws . The flat irons are too tall. losi cvd in the front, axial 1.9 beadlocks very cheap. full size servo plate and a hitec 645mg servo. Everything else looks good.

Stick with blue claws and cvds for the turning radius it will make up for the lack of ground clearance from the flat irons. Belly height around 2"s and limit the travel. Learn to use the torque twist to your advantage or get rid of it.
