I put mine on the front upper control arms... get the weight to the front, but keep it low too!

I'm running mine on the rear upper link. I didn't flip the tranny and I have a full size servo so there was no way to get it up front. I put the esc and BEC up front instead. It is well ballanced and hasn't let me down yet.

I always run my battery up front. On my Evo, I'm running my new battery on the upper links. With my older battery, I ran in on top of the servo.

Like some others here, I dint have tranny flipped cause of the Darksoul chassis mounting doesn't allow of that. So i'm running battery on rear upper links.

Also the rear upper links, 645mg & full weights on the rims up front keep everything "even-d out"

If your getting a front 4 link/servo plate, most of em have room for either electronics on the plate, or batteries. I'm going with batteries on mine, 2 cells each side, and will either mount the other 2 center, or on the rear axle. Depends on where I can fit the electronics.

I weighed my esc and my batteries last night and the esc weighs more so I think having it up front is bettery in my situation. I am only running a 900mah 2s lipo but I am using an old Rooster crawler I had laying arround. I know I know that thing is huge, but it has lipo cutoff built in and I don't care enough about the 1.9 to spend $100 on an FXR for it. That and I am running Anger Inc. Progress wheels so I can adjust the weight however I need to.
