Default MRC Shock options? move um out!

thats the plan..moving them to the outside of the chassis, closer to the tire. im using the Gmade wheel widners so i have lots of room, i just dont know how to mount them to the axle housing... any help would be great, thanks. im sure someone else has gone threw this but i just cant seem to find any help in the forums. so i have a 1.9 L-trail jeep with my MRC setup on it. as you see..

I have done something similar but not on the MRC axles. Try running a longer screw through the two tabs that mount the shock now, but long enough to stick out enough so you can mount the shock out there. use a spacer (and washer?) to keep the shock at the outer end of the screw. Or something like that. Puts a bit more stress on the bolt that way but shouldnt be enough to damage it.

funny you say, thats exactly what i did. but i had to use 2mm, and the longest 2mm screw i could find was just barley long enough. so its shock, spacer, link. put it out just wide enough to functiol, and it looks awesome. i left the rear spring inward.ill get some pics. i just wish i could find a longer 2mm screw so i could fit a 2mm locknut on the end

I see what your doing there.
Just a friendly tip. Make some sort of spacer to fit inbetween the tabs where the shocks used to mount, it will add a great deal of support and lessen the risk of ripping the tabs off the axle housing.
