Default First big run/My crawler build up

OK i figured since my other thread was about me soon to be owning a MRC i thought i should make one for this. I went down the street to a place that is landscaped with large rocks!!! it was great and is a awesome MRC spot and its easy walking distance from the house. Got out late but this run down has given me some insight into this RC crawler thing. I need to get new tires(side bite sucked) CV front axles are needed for turning radius and more rear weight. Those are the major things but i also realized i am turing way to much. Really wet and pine needles hurt me quite a bit. Anyways here are some pics and any input is welcome.

Sequence shots follow. I flipped in the right after the 3rd one but i thought it did great thru that section.

Good flex shot on this one

Nice climb up shot of the front

Had a blast and now im hooked on this thing

BTW the tires i seen on here that i would like a Prowler or something if anyone has info. They look like they would do good crawling and in the sand which is where i am taking this till next year so that would be nice to have a sand worthy crawler tire.

I chose the bug body so the wife might like it more! i didnt work!!! I think the chisels look great but i was thinking the the Flat irons? They seemed to be liked by many and i found a good deal on some on ebay. I also realized tonight I am buying bent lower links. It was killing me having straight ones. I also am gonna bring the ride hieght up about 1/4" or so. After tonights run I have made my buy list let me know how it looks.

Bent lower links
Tires
PVC to make beadlocks from the stockers
CV front axles
LOCKERS mine have some slop after some bad binding i had
Maybe shocks but i have no quams with the stockers yet

Great forum BTW been very helpful

Its a temp paint job. My paint is on order and i wanted to see how well normal spray paint worked which it dont. I am redoing it this week hopefully. And those are stock losi wheels that are going to be painted. plus i dont care what it looks like as long as it goes where i want it to

OK i repainted the body with plastic paint and its dark grey hammertone now. Wheel rings match got new tires and new wheels.

THEN i played and found that adding better tires makes a crazy difference but adding weight to both ends makes it so much better. I crawled until i had to reset my backyard pile 3 times to make it fun again. AFTER all of that i snapped the rear locker so i should have 2 sets of metal ones in the morn. I will get new pics up after its back together.
