Default Mixer vs Stocker Picture run!

Soundcolor and I (Mr. Ed) went to crawl this creek spot today and I got to see the mixer chassis perform. WOW! that thing is awesome when soundcolor gets his shocks set up that thing will flat out go! He had ZERO torque twist and I was ate all up with it! It was a great test run cuz our rigs are pretty similar. We both got flat Irons and 645's and uh well thats it I guess anyway on to the pictures!

Nice job RCBros! that chassis is great

These pictures dont show it very well but these were some VERY steep climbs and if you roll your truck it was going for a swim! Great spot and had a great time!

Honestly, it really goes to show just how good the miXer is. I had such stiff springs I was having a hard time getting any articulation at all. (even with the soft springs I found this morning, and the softer ones Ed had with him that he loaned me and we cut up on the site to fit)
Ed's rig performed flawlessly (after the twisted, broken driveshaft). And I must say, it was a pretty dead heat as to who had the better rig. *with some better/softer springs I would have totally killed you tho.. just so you know! lol*

No seriously it was a great time, got some good pics and some video I'ma edit up tommorow and hopefull post sometime tommorow evening.

I have been trying to tell people that the little creek spot is stupid dangerous and crazy steep. You can't go out there and do any crawlin without breakin something. Cant wait to do it again!

Has anybody put a plastic tube over the expandable drive shaft to try to prevent losing parts?
Not heat shrink because you need flexibility but I mean clear tubing that is loose fitting.

I dont think so, because the problems are either with the driveshaft twisting and shearing in half, or with the pins droping out of the u-joints.
Putting something on the shaft that would keep parts in without hindering the sliding motion of the driveshaft would also allow it to slide over the u-joints and stop them from moving at all.
