Default Kamikaze Kustoms Zero MRC

Well I finally broke down and built myself a MRC.
Thanks to the companies that made it possible

The Crawler Store
Kamikaze Kustoms
Mayhem Wheels
Panther Tires
Holmes Hobbies
BriansHobbyLand.net

For parts I chose a new Kamikaze Kustoms Zero MRC chassis
stock losi MRC
HR c's,knuckles,lockers and shocks
645 servo
losi slider motor
Mayhem 1.9 wheels
Custom Panther Cobra tires

The chassis goes together using stock screws from the mini so I was not on a hunt for screws.
I did however hate the slop I had with the stock MINI rod ends so I switched the upper rod ends out for axial ones .The Axial ends are the same length but do require 3mm hardware so I had to enlarge the holes in the chassis and Axle plates.
For lowers I am using 1/4 inch delrin with the stock MRC rod ends for now.
I limited the shock by about 3/8 on the inside with fuel tubing to get the ride height I wanted (1 7/ I am considering lowering it a little more.

I will update this thread as I start to get a tune on it .
A few pics.

I am running the stock ESC with a slider motor.

I have been running that setup on Tyler's truck for a while now and it does pretty good. Not the smoothest on start up but gets the job done on a budget.

It looks good in white! I just built up a black one. This chassis was a breeze to get together and soooooooooo many options. I'll be watching for some ideas on set up

Can you show a PIC of your battery placement?

2 cell strapped to the side of the chassis.
As for width I am at 7 3/8.

All I can say about Brians is that I will never show up somewhere and still be building my rig after I get there. It was a disaster. But its all good now.

Good looking rig Joe. Still waiting for mine to come in, maybe you can rattle Jeff's cage for me. What are the length on the lowers?

The same as the stock MRC lowers.
Talked to Jeff earlier and he was about to start cutting chassis.

Just woke up after making the trip back from Crawllapalooza 09
I first want to say 1.9 for me is just something I do for fun.I feel no pressure when running it I just have fun and where ever I place I am fine with it.
With that being said I was truly surprised when I was called to get ready for 1.9 finals this weekend.I knew I drove well and the little rig worked great but I was When it was all over with I place 3rd

I would like to think Jeff for a great working chassis.I would also like to think all my sponsors in my Signature with out them I would not be where I am now. THANKS GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The only changes I have made are that I changed the suspension around to a 50/50 setup om the shocks, and switched to Vanquish Products LH Pro Comp wheels.
I will see if I can get some updated pics today.
