hey guys I have 7.2V IB1600 Nimh battery pack on my MRC. Would this be okey if I switch to Hitec 645mg servo or should I switch to lipo

The battery will be fine. But you may want to think about a BEC, though, as some of those stock MRC ESCs have fried under the load an upgraded servo pulls. I upgraded my servo and got a CC BEC along with it. I've had no problems; and I'd even say that the ESC doesn't run as hot. Last edited by JeepinOR; 06-18-2009 at 01:51 PM. |

thanks, a lot of guys already suggested castle BEC, that's what i'll do then if it just easier to order parts here in the canadian praires. (hehe)

Does the OEM ESC really need a BEC running a 645mg? If so,I guess I had better get one for my MRC build  |
