Default motor tranny flip.

so im still tweaking my losi and id like to do a flip. i dont know how. iv searched and came up with the end results, but no how to action.

im runnin a stock tranny with a slider motor and its in a Snipe tuber.

help?

Rotate skid 180* and switch motor wires.

sorry to hijack but will switching the motor wires hurt the motor at all

switching the wires wont hurt i've done it to my motor when i first bought it and have not seen a difference

switching the wires does nothing to hurt the motor. the motor's polarity just changes rotational direction. like welding with positive or negative current, the electricity just flows in a different direction.

There is very little either positive or negative effect at all as far as the actual running gear is concerned.
Flipping them around slightly changes the pinion angles for the better, and very slightly shifts weight forward. But not enough to make any diffrence.
The only reason I did it, and the main reason everyone else does it, is because it makes more room up front for your electronics.

if your worried about the motor just flip the switch on the radio, this works ok if you are using the stock radio. If u have a radio that u us for multiple car them switch the wires. either way will work

does anybody have pics of how to do this mod I have heard about it. BTW I'm just gathering info for when i get mine in a little while.
