Default esc and motor ?

so has anyone ran a normal size esc like a stock esc from an ax-10rtr with the mrc? I am replacing the steering servo w/ an hs 645 and the stock esc with the one mentioned above. So will it hurt the stock motor to run it on that big of an esc? it is all going into a scaler with a frame mounted steering servo so clearance of the big of a servo is not an issue. thanks in advance.

I ran a 645 with my stock esc for a few months and had no issues. That being said some guys have done the same thing and they burned up their esc. So what I'm saying is............Good Luck

Buy a Castle Creations CCBEC they are about 25 bucks and dont worry about burnning anything up. Check out Holmes Hobbies he is a great vendor here and he knows his stuff!

well I got my answer today. I ran it with an ax-10 stock rtr esc and radio and an hs645 servo with the stock motor. it worked great(other than junk ax-10 stuff) and I tested it crawling my rock pile and again it worked great.
