Stock tires SUCK! There made out of super bounce ball rubber, upgrade to some blue compound clawz or other aftermarket comp tire and you'll be happy with the switch.

Hi, 'Casper. Welcome.

When I first got my MRC I was surprised to find myself liking the stock tires without the foam. Of course, after I upgraded to the Losi "Blue" Claws (same pattern, different rubber compound) I forgot all about the stock tires.
If it works for you, go for it.

I still run the stock tires and foams. I'm pushing nearly a pound in the front wheels and on the front axle. But, I got a secret potion that I use... I come from a dirt track racing background, so I use a compound that makes the tires softer.
