| Stock servo wiring
My steering decided to stop responding and as I started to fool with it I noticed that if I pulled the wires entering the servo to one side the steering would wake up. I disasembled the servo to find that the black wire had lost it connection with the circuit board. Should I try to resolder this (it's tiny!) or just replace the servo. I guess it really depends on my budget. I should probably ask is it possible to resolder this connection? Without steering this is a great looking desk ornament. Thoughts? |

If its the stock steering servo than I would say its not worth soldering. The most popular servo for the mrc seems to be the hitec 645. I use one and its well worth it. About 30 dollars and is metal gears and works fine with stock electronics

I am using the hitech as well, works great. I wouldn't even bother with the stock one
